Bantu for Upper Mid (> Aran/Alan/Arran/Brad)?

I didn't know Bantu can OHKO Ice Dragons.

This is a generalization, but I think two chapters of anti-Dragon utility is certainly better than Cecil taking your Silver Lance and then leaving you to never do much that's ground breaking.

Bantu is helluva useful. Also lolBrad.

I could buy it. Midgame performance is basically measured on Dragons and Barbarians, and a good midgame>whatever Aran has.

Meh, he's also being 2HKO'd and Ice Dragons come in crowds. If you generalize a lot, we're talking good earlygame vs good midgame here.

Yes, by Ice Dragons. They're effective on each other.

Alan's earlygame isn't even that great. Cavs catch up to him in a mere four levels:

Cecil (7/0): 21 HP, 8 Str, 10 AS, 7 Def
Alan: 22 HP, 8 Str, 11 AS, 10 Def

Not to mention she has a promotion to look forward to, and she's reaching 7/0 by around Chapter 3.

I definitely think its possible that Bantu's period of win over Alan is much longer and more relevant.

I would have to check out Bantu's performance against normal enemies. He uses Dragonstones much like Laguz Stones, except he has no gauge. He has like 36 uses of them throughout the game, iirc.
