Who the hell put Palla in Low tier?

That makes no sense, seriously.

Colonel asked me if Palla being a tier up on Astram was worse than her being a tier down on Matthis and Vyland. The answer is, yes, I do. Palla joins with his base spd [I'm not even joking] and has a high lance rank as opposed to a sword rank, and wins mobility on top of it. Plus then she shitstomps him in ATK/Def when she promotes, but this isn't really about Astram, anyway.

Everything I said about Catria shitstomping Dolph on jointime applies to Palla as well. Except it's worse because she has slightly better bases and Auto-Silver. Lategame chapters have basically no weight since lolwarpskip, so whoops, looks like Dolph has no chance to catch up at all.

I'll elaborate on those two if I really have to, but I want to get to the main beef of my post. I have to pick one of the sucky redhead cavs to compare her to, let's pick Matthis.

I don't think it takes a genius to figure out Matthis blows royally overgame, so I'd really prefer it if people don't start going "HAY BB AVAILABILITY LOL" in an attempt to blow Matthis existing earlygame out of proportion. Colonel, this means you.

I'll be honest, I don't know wtf Machis's promoted setup is. Cav-Sniper has godawful AS so let's fly with Cav-Draco. Pun intended, bite me Maddox.


Palla has several routes she can take. She's close to sealing level so she can just instnt-promote, or she can wait until 15. This aside:

15/1 Draco Matthis [and I might be favoring him here, this man really is garbage for all ten of his unpromtoed chapters, and things get worse if we dont go to 6x or 12x]

34 HP, 13 str, 10 AS, 14 def

10/1 Draco Palla:

27 HP, 11 str, 13.5 AS, 13.5 def

....I really don't need to go over this, do I?

Joining earlier and requiriing huge babying as opposed to coming out of the gate with passable/good bases and only needing two levels to seal...is an obvious win to Palla.

So wtf is she doing a tier below Matthis and Vyland? It should be the other way around if anything.

And if Matthis has a viable setup outside of CavDraco, I don't see it. lolCurate, his AS BLOWS as CavSniper, lolSwordmaster...


I know it's a brief argument, but really, this should be obvious to a five year old. $50 says Colonel put her there.

edt: After talking over it on IRC I'm not really inclined to argue Palla>Matthis anymore, But I still think a tier gap between them is absurd.
