The first one has funny text editing for like, the first two chapters, but I'm not sure if the stat changes are as up to date as in the second one. So I recommend checking out the dialogue changes in Version 1, then when they stop, restart and play Version 2.

The idea:
This hack gives people who join very late a very good playtime, and vice versa. It also makes an attempt to balance characters, while keeping most of their use the same. In addition, the storyline will be changed to super short conversations, intended to be humorous since they will make little to no sense whatsoever.

Some suggested switches/changes:
1. Kyle and Orson are a bit awkward (they're still in the same chapter), and so is Myrrh's extremely early join time. Put Myrrh where Kyle is in the old game, put Kyle where Eirika is in the old game, and leave Orson what he is: a traitor, available for all of one chapter. Alternatively, make Myrrh the unit that's available for one chapter, so that Orson becomes a permanently playable member. First version will do the latter solution.
2. The prepromotes that now join very early will be quite overpowered, while the latejoining units that are unpromoted are underleveled. The obvious solution is to promote/unpromote them, and substract/add some level averages.

Syrene - Can stay as the prepromote Jeigan thing with her usual bases.

Knoll - same, but lowered to 5/0
Duessel - gets unpromoted, given his 13/0 averages, but joins at 5/0
Rennac - Can stay promoted, with crap bases, but great growths, a la Sedgar/Wolf but less so.
Cormag - gets leveled back to 3/0
Ewan - same.
Saleh - is now a Mage with somewhat random stats, may be changed later
Dozla - same. Fwahahaha!
L'Arachel - Stays the same.
Marisa - same.
Tethys - same.
Gerik - put down to 4/0
Innes - Stays the same. He's already got to deal with being a Sniper.
