Should there really be a 2 tier gap diffence between between these forms of Fee? To guarentee a 1RKO all forms of Fee need the hero lance for chapters 6-8. After promotion by the start of chapter 9 Fee [Noish] stops requiring hero lance to 1RKO reliably (though with so many skills its hard not to) as her weapon ranks both reached A. However by promotion Fee [Claude] makes all other healers completely obsolete sans the reserve staff, she can use status staves, libro, recover, warp, and restore and all this stems from 8 move and flight. Sure she doesn't become a monster at combat, but her use of magic swords are good chip damage for melee enemies and she still CAN use hero lance to give a reliable 1RKO(even though Fin might want it). Her utility starts to shift from a pure combat unit to the ultimate utility unit.

Fee [Levn] is basically Fee [Noish] skillwise, statwise, she has worse strength and durability, so doesn't match offensively until the conversation for +5 strength. Still Fee doesn't quite become a reliable powerhouse ever before promoting without the hero lance. Reliable combat win is only for 1.5 chapters for Fee [Noish].

There should not be 2 tier gaps between the 3 Fees listed. Also being the only flier in Gen 2 for 3.5 chapters is certainly always going to be above mid at least right?

Even though I always argue Noish!Fee is the best Fee, I agree 2 tier gaps is way too much. I've always maintained that different versions of the same kid should be in the same tier 99% of the time.

I have to ask, though, what is so much better about Noish as a father than Alec?

Fee[Alec]
85% hp, 35% str, 12% mag, 40% skill, 45% spd, 35% luck, 45% def, 12% mdef

Fee[Noish]
90% hp, 40% str, 12% mag, 35% skill, 40% spd, 30% luck, 50% def, 12% mdeg.

And as far as their bases are concerned, Fee[Noish] has +1 hp, +1 str, -1 skl.

So a little stronger, a little more hp, slightly more def. Less skl, slightly less spd, slightly less luck.

Both parents have BB Lance/Sword, so inheritance is equal.

It's basically comparing Critical + Charge with Awareness. Shouldn't immunity to crits and not caring about bows/wind more than any other weapon type mean more than a skill that is eventually overridden by 50+ kill weapons and dual? At the start if she is assumed to have the Hero Lance then she is ORKOing anyway. When that gets taken away I suppose critical might be nice for what she doesn't ORKO naturally, but what about not caring about bows and wind and killer weapons and wrath and enemies with Critical?

Wind tomes are almsot non-existent in gen 2, and bow units in this game barely qualify as a threat. Crits also do not exist outside those with Wrath, a grand total of one sub-boss and goddamn Julius himself.

Also, what killer enemies, and what enemies with critical? These are very rare, and I would personally rather have Critical+Duel for when she misses, or prefers to use swords (for some reason, but hey, if we can give the lance back to Fin and toss her a hero sword instead...)

I'd say the final bit would be that on top of this, Sety would be far superior, but I suppose we shouldn't reward her directly for that.

...They should be closer together though, or at least both existent on hte list.

How would Alec make Sety any better? Doesn't Noish make Sety better? He doesn't really get much of anything from awareness. There are some bosses with skills, I suppose, but if Alec or Noishe is the father of Sety then Levin probably fathered Arthur, and even if not you probably use Shanan or Aless or Swordkids against bosses. I suppose of those only swordkids have Awareness, though. Still, I'd think Alec is even more "screw Sety" than Noish already was.

I guess you may have meant Noish makes Sety better than Alec makes him. It isn't 100% clear, though.

(Oh, and I think wind is actually not effective on Fee anyway. Oops)

Anyway, does Awareness block Continue? I know it does nothing for Pursuit and Big Shield, so it may not affect Continue either. There is a decent number of things out there with Continue. A small number of things with Ambush, too, though I don't know whether or not Awareness affects that, either.

I did mean Noish makes Sety better, and Sety is at least having considerable offense. Pursuit, good magic base, Duel and Critical, it's not like Sety is actually screwable on any ccount, just he wouldn't have Holsety.

Awareness blocks all skills, the problem is that all skills are on bosses, and when I say bosses, I mean the following.

Trabant
Orion
The fucker with the Swanchika (Critical and a Sword would certainly be far more helpful here than awareness)
Ishtar
Julius

Those sorts of guys. Guys she has absolutely no business fighting, Awareness or no.

I'd rather take the risk of critical landing with a brave weapon landing on the forrest knights with their Continue than actually having to deal with them striking me in hte first place. If I kill them before they can attack, I'm all the safer even without Awareness.

Awareness doesn't block all skills.

At a minimum, it does squat against Pursuit and Big Shield (I've had Lakche get blocked and of course characters with Pursuit can still double Yurius).

Based off this:
Negates enemy critical attacks, sword skills and effective bonus towards user

I'd say that the only things it blocks are Critical, Sun Sword, Shooting Star Sword, Moonlight Sword, Effective damage (critical) from bows, ditto for Wing Clipper. I don't think much out there has wing clippers, though. And only Boyce in the final chapter has Sun Sword.

It would be nice if it would block Prayer, since I think there is one enemy out there with prayer, but I don't think it even does that.

Actually, I may have seen Continue activate on Yurius. Also, since Hero weapons are 100% Continue, and hero weapons can quad Yurius, chances are Awareness does nothing against continue, as I suspected.

So we are left with her being bait for Altenna, if that is relevant.

And Ridale, Yurius, Boyce, Meng, Bleg, Maybell, Zwei, Drei, Sechs, Sieben, Neun, Elf, Zwolf all have critical or wrath.

And anyone in the arena. Which is one guy she'll never face since it's a guy with a killer bow and she can't face any of the indirect enemies in the arena. Oh wells. Arena enemies don't have personal skills and the class skills I don't think are blocked by awareness.

Yeah, all Nihil does for Free is stop bows from doing a ton of damage, but she isn't extremely good at facing them regardless. Critical and Charge help her when she's using a sword on a mountain thief, for example, and it allows her to kill with Hero Lance without taking a counter sometimes. Or use Slim Lance.

And Sety can hardly function with Alec as a dad, but that's not relevant for Fee's tiering.

Point of clarification, fliers are not weak to wind in this game.
