Dorothy>Walt while we're at it. Too much weight is being placed on Walt's four chapters of utility of which he still sucks for anyway.

Well it all brings something to mind, that perhaps I would like answered. Not saying I disagree, but if you would clear up the air...

-When does Sue start doubling consistently? 8 base speed, 5 con, it spells a couple problems. Walt is bound to have more Str, though Dorothy's probably got no excuse as she starts with the same base. This period of time, they are performing better outside of mount utility.

-Leveling. The Orion Bolts arrive in chapter 11 Echidna or 10 Bartre. Sue starts at level 1, joins chapter 6 when essentially the action is over. This leaves her 4-5 chapters to gain 9 levels. Walt at least has the excuse of forced chapters to gain levels, Dorothy has basically an extra chapter along with starting at level 3.

-Supports. How much effect do they have on performance?

Walt-Well he's got the soonest chance at the C Roy, but the question is if Roy wants it? With B Lance, he's not adding an extra defense point. Just 5 avoid, 2 crit, 5 hit. Marcus dies out eventually, nor does it help either of them during their glory times.

Dorothy-Garunteed Saul, end of story.

Sue-Well, there's Shin, but is Windxce really helping her? I suppose her 1+1 with Roy will eventually land a C if he's being totted around by the cavs. In fact, her lack of player phase gives her that option of taking Roy off a cav. This transports Roy to the throne faster, gives them the extra support, and it changes generally no one's offense. +1 ATK, 5 hit and crit ain't too shabby for an archer.

My thoughts support-wise, but I just want a bit cleared out of the air, cause I'm willing to agree.

Why the hell is Walt getting B Lance? Even if Walt DOES get B Lance what does it do for him? Whoopee 1 ATK? Furthermore this fucks up Lance's str notably. This isn't even a one sided support, neither party cares about the bonuses (Lance has plenty of AVO from Alan/Roy to be durable, Walt has no business caring about durability]

Dorothy has better stats and Walt sucks in his forced chapters anyway so it's not like he's gaining a crapload of levels before Dorothy shows. Even with a level lead (4) He's only BARELY tying Dorothy in the stats that actually matter for archers [str/spd]

I meant Roy with B Lance.

Then...

Walt has far inferior str/spd stats to Dorothy for most of the game.

Walt has inferior support bonuses to Dorothy [She can get an A with her only possible option easy. Furthermore Dorothy helps Saul's CRTAVO issue]

Walt doing weak potshots for five chapters is not enough to offset Dorothy's overall betterness.

Dorothy also gets +1 spd on Wolt upon promotion.
