staff utility and other shit

To respond to OliverxRenning's usual ridiculous claims that sucking>>>healing in the form of his opinion that Astram should>Maria, Allow me to rehash the "Staves>Sucking" argument, only replace "Lorenz" with "Astram", and "Elice" with Maria. Maria is almost an Auto-C in staves [18 uses to C], that beats the shit out of...whatever Astram does.

I was going to compare her to Boah but I must honestly ask, why is there a tier difference between Maria and Boah? Yes, Excalibur use, but that doesn't matter as much when you factor that his mag sucks so badly even as Sage. Now I'm obviously not going to dispute that he has something resembling combat and Maria doesn't, but I don't believe that warrants a tier gap. In fact I don't really see a tier gap between him and Etzel [Etzel has something called "existing mag"

And this just popped into my head, Maria>Linde. Notably better base staff rank vs SOME latergame potential, and I put heavy emphasis on "some". Either or there's too many units between them IMO, they should be right next to each other.

I am thinking over all of the stuff said. I'll ahead and remove the tier gap between Boah and Etzel for a start.

Maria or Linda has to jump over a few units to get to each other, though Maria rising is possibly better since IIRC it's been proven that Linde > Tiki.

Interesting factoid: You don't need a promotion item to be useful with staffs, meaning Maria needs no promotion item.

Interesting factoid: You need a promotion item to be useful in staves if you're Class Set B.

Interesting factoid: Not that it matters since Dark Mage is a terrible class to go in.

I'd argue Linde > Maria though, but I think you agreed with me on that Chainey unless you changed your mind or I misinterpreted.
